This approach avoids reinventing the wheel for every project and ensures our hands-on expertise is structured and reusable. Rather than a rigid product, our template serves as a customizable collection of bundled best practices that inspires teams and significantly accelerates deployment.
Clean Data Thanks to the Four-Eyes Principle
We regularly enrich our Dynamics Template for Higher Education with new functionality. Recently, we developed a feature designed for structured data quality management across large educational institutions: a four-eyes data validation process.
The core principle behind this feature is straightforward:
- Rapid Data Entry: All users can quickly add new organizations and contacts into the system without being hindered by excessive mandatory fields or complex deduplication rules.
- Verification (Four-Eyes Principle): A dedicated data validator—such as an administrative staff member—is automatically assigned a task to review the newly submitted record.
- Validation and Enrichment: The validator verifies whether the contact already exists within the CRM, completes any missing details, and updates the record status to confirm validation.
- Record Locking and Controlled Updates: Once validated, the record is locked against direct edits. Subsequent modifications must be submitted through a formal change request process initiated from the locked record, which routes directly to the data validator’s queue.
This approach maintains high data quality while keeping the platform accessible and user-friendly for all staff.
